What says the inheritance law?

The inheritance law regulates, who inherits and how the deduction is divided between heirs.
On these pages you experience, who are the legal heirs and what you can determine with a last will or a hereditary contract.
Swiss inheritance law is expressly regulated by the Swiss Civil Code. Besides there are still some other laws as for example the Federal Code over International Private Law.
Death duties are not raised from the federation; sometimes, depending upon position inheriting or legatee, but of cantons and/or municipalities. |
